Came to Maryland following a standout high school career as a running back.

1991: Member of the A-Backs corps. At start of Spring practice moved to inside linebacker. Moved again to nose guard.

High School 1989: first team All-Prince George's County selection during his senior year. A bruising running back who gained 1,247 yards, scored team high of 22 touchdowns. Led the Eagles to a 7-3 finish.
