Proctor Fact: Set the Clemson record for passing yardage in a spring game when he threw for 275 yards. Overview: Made great strides in spring practice and is firmly entrenched as the #2 quarterback...completed 18 of 23 passes for 275 yards and three touchdowns in the 2005 Spring Game...established the school record for passing yards in a spring game; completed 13 consecutive passes at one point and his 78.3-percent completion rate was also a Spring Game record; threw three touchdown passes, including two to Kelvin Grant and one to La'Donte Harris...was 13-24 for 121 yards in the April 2 scrimmage and was 15-24 for 173 yards in the April 9 scrimmage; completed 65 percent of his passes in the three scrimmages combined...second-team quarterback in 2004; he was the third-string quarterback in 2003...has played in eight games overall, including five in 2003 as a freshman when Clemson finished in the top 25...consistently on the Academic Honor Roll; he made that list for the spring of 2005. 2004: Backup to Charlie Whitehurst; he played in three games for seven total snaps...attempted three passes, including two at Florida State and one against Utah State...also saw action against Georgia Tech. 2003: Did not appear as a quarterback, but did play in four games at wide receiver...his season high for snaps was five in the win over Duke...played special teams against #3 Florida State...totaled 11 snaps for the four games. 2002: Red-shirted...traveled to most of the away games.
