Sophomore (2004): Started four games at safety and played in all 11 contests... Ranked fifth on the team with 67 tackles, 2.5 for loss... Had 15 tackles in the Oklahoma St. game... Notched 12 stops at UTEP... Had a pair of eight-tackle games - against Tulsa and Nevada - and a nine-stop effort at TCU.
Freshman (2003): Saw playing time in nine games as a safety and on special teams... Forced a fumble against UTEP... Played a solid game at Nevada with seven stops and a pass breakup... Notched six takedowns against Boise State... Had 19 tackles on the season. Prep: Accomplished all-around athlete that excelled on both sides of the ball for one of the premier high school programs in the country... Three-year starter who helped his team capture three straight state championships, winning 45 consecutive games... Team captain on a squad that ranked second in the nation in the USA Today Top 25 rankings... Gwinnett County Offensive Player of the Year as a senior and Gwinnett Touchdown Club 2002 Athlete of the Year... Ranked second in the county with 45 receptions for 709 yards and eight touchdowns... Recorded 103 tackles and led the county with eight interceptions... First-team All-State selection at wide receiver... First-team All-District pick on offense and defense... The No. 39 ranked safety prospect in America according to Rivals100.com... Three-star player by Rivals... Also a standout baseball player who led his team to state titles as a sophomore and junior...
